What is special about these Archie Arch Supporting Thongs is that they have an arch support built into them. If you need to wear foot orthotics or something similar, than wearing thongs for an extended period of time is going to be a bit of a problem, so these are a good option when the weather is warmer or you prefer to use this type of footwear.
